He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bowman and Elizabeth Bowman (Quiggle); his adoptive daughter Desiree Hall; and his siblings, Mary Ann Swanson (Ernie), Eugene Bowman (Lea), Arvid Bowman and Donald Bowman (Mary).

He is survived by: his wife Vicki Bowman; his children, Jamie Lemon (Mark), Tavo Bowman, Travis Bowman (Heather) and Joni Sandwick (Eric); his adoptive daughter Jeanie Johansen; his grandchildren, Jacob (Briana), Brooke, Taylor (Matt), Levi, Jordan, Parker, Ricklin, Tom and Corie; his great grandchildren, Jacey, Jameson, Atticus, Killian, Izzy and Oswell; and his sisters, Nancy Reuhmann (Jim), Lora Lee Larson and Anita Zentner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
