Betty Wendt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2021, at the age of 94, Betty Wendt of Truman, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lorenzen and Emma Lorenzen (Sandbrink); her husband Gerhardt Wendt; her daughter Lorene "Sharon" Ribble; her siblings, John "Sonny" Lorenzen, Doris Westfall, Eleanor Adams and Marilyn Bess; and her grandchildren, Brieann Wendt and Michael Wendt.
She is survived by: her former husband John Travis; her children, Steven (Mary) of Osceola, WI, Patricia Hartt (Alan) of Junction, TX, Roland (Debra) of Truman, MN and Randal (Christine) of Camarillo, CA; her son-in-law Maurice Ribble; and her brother David Lorenzen (Shirley) of Chrisman, IL. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, cared for her mother-in-law for 12 years.
In lieu of flowers, family preference for memorials are to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or School, Martin Luther High School, or charity of choice.
