He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Garlisch and Selma Garlisch (Koehler); his brother Marlin Garlisch; his grandparents, Henry, Mamie Garlisch, William Koehler and Anna Koehler; and his stepgrandmother Minnie Koehler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Everett Garlisch of Trimont, Minnesota, Merlin Garlisch of Trimont, Minnesota and Annette Garlisch of Fairmont, Minnesota.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (31 Main St W, Trimont, MN 56176).
