He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Hagen and Flora Hagen (Swift); his sons, Kurt Hagen and Eric Hagen; and his siblings-in-law, Herb Lohse, Dr. Frank McDaniel and Ruth Lerner.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Hagen of Dunnell, Minnesota; his daughter-in-law Laurie Hagen of Sherburn, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jamie Parenteau (John) of Alameda, Jennifer Hagen of England and Christopher Hagen of Mankato, Minnesota; and his siblings, Reinold Hagen (Barb) of Fairmont, Minnesota and Jeanne Lohse of Oakdale, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
