She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Wiese and Lela Wiese (Bell); her husband Paul Karstens; her grandson Jeffrey Karstens; her great grandchild Christopher Worthley; her siblings, Harold Wiese (Doris), Clarence Wiese, Bob Wiese (Darlene), Paul, Gladys Weibel (Jerry), Adelia Hawkinson (Russell) and Linda Warden (Jerry); her siblings-in-law, Mavis Poppen and Jack Karstens; and her son-in-law Olaf Solvik.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Solvik of Spencer, Diane Hamilton (Stephen) of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, David Karstens (Nancy) of Colorado Springs and Doug Karstens (Deanna) of Annadale; her sister Alice Kansanback of Jordan, Minnesota; and also Chad. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
