He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ebeling and Mildred Ebeling (Anderson); his brother John Ebeling (Dianne); his father-in-law Keith Smith (Margie); and his brother-in-law Allen Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ebeling of Trimont, Minnesota; his sons, Layne Ebeling (Darnel) of Trimont, David Ebeling of St. Peter and Michael Ebeling (Raquel) of Truman, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Cornelius (Joe) of Kodiak, Libby Smith of Michigan and David Smith (Gail) of California. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
