She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Frederick Daniel Winter and Alma Martha Amanda Anna; her husband Melvin; and her sisters, Hazel Zitterich (Justin) and Hilda Terfehr (Al).
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Plueger (Louis) of Mankato, Beverly Stowe of Minneapolis, Lonnie Moffitt (Robert), Kathleen Schultz (David) of Spirit Lake, Jennifer Schmolke, Marsha Peterson (Paul) of Blaine, Amy Handevidt (Brad) of Mantorville and Rita Cole (Byron) of Mantorville, Minnesota. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
Helen's family would prefer donations be made to: Parkinson's Disease or American Heart Association.
