He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bettin and Alma Bettin (Hilken); his son Joseph Bettin; his granddaughter Jennifer Bettin; his brother-in-law David Weaver (Bill Stevens); his sisters, Joye Weaver and Nyla Stevens; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Bettin and Jean Clemmensen.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Bettin of Sherburn, Minnesota; his sons, Mike Bettin of Mt. Lake, Brian Bettin (Pat) of Onalaska and Ross Bettin (Cindy) of Sherburn, Minnesota; his brother Harley Bettin of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Clemmensen (Lou) of Como Park and Jane Weseman (Paul) of Sherburn, Minnesota. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
