She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hilgendorf and Frieda Hilgendorf (Lintelman); and her husband Leo Henry Brolsma. She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Hilgendorf (JoAnn) and Bruce Hilgendorf (Lois); and her children, Bradley (Joan), Jacquelyn, Jennifer, Jane (Cleve) and Brian (Cindy). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and seven great-grand children.
