He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoffbeck and Ella Marie Hoffbeck (Nielsen); his brothers, Raymond, Francis, Earl, Vernon and Norman; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Darlene, Joyce, Lois and LaVerne Dahmes.
He is survived by: his wife Ardith Likness; his children, Gary Hoffbeck (Judy) of Underwood, Wayne Hoffbeck (Cindy) of Woodbury, Marge Lyons (Richard) of Vesta, Daryl Hoffbeck (Joan) of Welch and Keith Hoffbeck (Carin) of Garvin; his siblings, Floyd of Redwood Falls and Viola Dahmes of Redwood Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Alvina Hoffbeck and Evie Hoffbeck. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
