He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burgess and Josephine Burgess (Hewett); and his siblings, Linden, Raymond, Billy, Dell and Ruth Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Lindberg and Bob Burgess (Carol); his children, Johnny Burgess (Linda Myklebust), Jere Lynn Wujcik (Tom) and Jeff Burgess (Pam); his grandson Jon Ryan Myre (Jennifer); and his children, Jaime Johnson (Joe), Kara Burgess, John Russel Burgess (Stephanie), Jacob Burgess (Alaina), Kada Kesti (Alex), Megan Uhan (Matt) and Ryan Myklebust (Melaine).
