It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Stavenes of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, born in Stephen, Minnesota, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Stavenes and Eunice Stavenes (Haugtvedt); his brothers, Rodney and Randy; and his grandsons, Isaac and Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Geri (Geraldine); his children, Stephen (Stacy), Red, Kelly (Jose) of Pasco, WA, Sarah Thief (Eric), Sheena (Justin) and Bruce; his grandchildren, Alexis, Katelyn, Mason, Skylar, Ethan, Peyton, Ariana, Millie, Jaxon, Logan and Huxley; his great grandchild Angel; and his siblings, Joyce Barth (Brad) of Goodridge, MN and Terry Stavenes (Becky). He is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.
