Wahna Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wahna Smith of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Torkelson and Helen Torkelson (Wiken); her siblings, Francis Marion Torkelson, Willis Duane Torkelson, Geraldine Mae Guerard and Ivette DeVerne Garrett; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Torkelson (Dodie), Dorothy Torkelson, Darlene Torkelson, Robert Garrett and Theodore Guerard.
She is survived by: her children, Maury Smith (Traci McCarthy) and Cere Smith (Lars McCaslin); her grandson Colin Smith; her siblings, Wallace, Marvin Torkelson, Faye Auchenpaugh and Pamela Kittridge (Kevin); and her sister-in-law Terri Torkelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in Wahna's memory to the St. Pauli Cemetery Association.
