He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schuldt and Harriet Schuldt; his parents-in-law, Orrin and Antonia Nystrom; his sister Judy Jovanovich; and his nephew James Schuldt.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja (Sue); his children, Rebecca Swanberg (John), Beth Schuldt (Mark) and Robert Schuldt (Amy); his grandchildren, Allison Wallace (Drew), Jack Swanberg (Rachel) and Kate Rasmussen (Hayden); and his brother Harvey Schuldt (Donna). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the WAM – Women's Anglers of Minnesota in Richard's name.
