She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thorson and Augusta Thorson (Geske); her husband Roger Eckstein; her daughter Natalie Kolberg; her siblings, Miles Thorson, Carole Grovum and Annabelle Sullins; and her grandson Jacob Eckstein.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Eckstein of Mantorville, MN, Scott Hermansen (Karin) and Jill Gunderson (Dave) of Burnsville, MN; her grandchildren, Jessica Eckstein (David Kazibut), Aaron Eckstein, Tony Gunderson (Stephanie), Leif Gunderson (Melissa) and Karl Kolberg; and her sister-in-law Marion Anderson of Anchorage, AK. She is also survived by many other relatives including four Great Grand Children.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Thief River (420 Labree Ave, Thief River Falls, MN 56701).
