She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thorson and Augusta Thorson (Geske); her husband Roger Eckstein; her daughter Natalie Kolberg; her siblings, Miles Thorson, Carole Grovum and Annabelle Sullins; and her grandson Jacob Eckstein.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Eckstein of Mantorville, MN, Scott Hermansen (Karin) and Jill Gunderson (Dave) of Burnsville, MN; her grandchildren, Jessica Eckstein (David Kazibut), Aaron Eckstein, Tony Gunderson (Stephanie), Leif Gunderson (Melissa) and Karl Kolberg; and her sister-in-law Marion Anderson of Anchorage, AK. She is also survived by many other relatives including four Great Grand Children.
Memorials are suggested to St John Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls or St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.
