He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Johnson and Clara Johnson; his grandson Lucas Mandt; his siblings-in-law, Harold Bye, Duane Anderson and Erlyss Grimm; his son-in-law Lance Mandt; his grandson-in-law Greg Sandeen; and his parents-in-law, LaVern and Nora Grimm.
He is survived by: his wife Beverley Johnson; his children, Vickie Lynn Humphrey (Dallas) of Venice, FL and Jeffrey Lee Johnson (Kathy); his grandchildren, Rachael Olson (Rod) of Mentor, MN, Leigh Mandt (Tisha) of North Branch, MN, Arik Johnson and Andrew Johnson; his great grandchildren, Brianna Munson (Andy) of Crookston, MN, Emily Olson of Mentor, MN, Liam Mandt and Kennedy Mandt of North Branch, MN; his great great grandchildren, Ellie and Ben Munson of Crookston, MN; his sisters, Myonne Peters of New Rockford, ND and June Anderson of Larimore, ND; and his brother-in-law Larry Grimm (Marilyn) of Cannon Falls, MN..
