It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Nelson of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edmund and Cecelia Marsella Sanderson (Urbanek); her husband Howard Nelson; her siblings, Jeanie Jostad, Jerry, Thomas and Roger; her brothers-in-law, Ernie Jostad and Bob Stanton; and her daughter-in-law Erica Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Nelson (Maria) of Glendale, AZ, Thomas Nelson (Jenny) of Colorado Springs, CO, Sheri Nelson of Devils Lake, ND, Scott Nelson (Pam) of Woodbury, MN and Kurt Nelson (Christina); her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Andre, Alexa, Jordan, Cami, Caleb, Ashley, Sarah and Emma; her great grandchildren, Rylee and Jessa; her siblings, Robert Sanderson (Chris) of Kissee Mills, MO and Gloria Stanton of Onalaska, WI; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Sanderson of Onalaska, WI and Karyn Sanderson of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
