It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella Dunrud of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Rose and Mary Agnes Rose (Janousek); her husband Kenneth Dunrud; her daughter Kathryn Sundstedt (Wayne); her son-in-law Randy Krantz; and her siblings, Frank Rose, Patricia Devos (Joseph), Cyril Rose (Eileen), Lillian Martin (Cecil), Marian Devos (Francis), Della Dietrich (Henry) and Jerry Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Krantz of Karlstad, MN, Michael Dunrud (Teri) of Viking, MN, Steven Dunrud of Viking, MN and Craig Dunrud (Roxanne) of Viking, MN; her grandchildren, Lisa Solbreken (Daran) of Clear Lake, MN, Sarah Lee (Thomas) of Belgrade, MN, Brian Krantz (Donnelle) of Karlstad, MN and Philip; her stepgrandchildren, Shane Knutson of Detroit Lakes, MN and Chris Knutson of Newfolden, MN; her great grandchildren, Tiana Solbreken, Jacob Solbreken, Tyler Lee, Madison Lee, Britni Hoglo (Seth), Crysta Halgrimson (John), Kandis Matelski (Trevor), Keegan Krantz, Rylie Nelson (Aaron), Tucker Krantz, Liberty Osland (Dustin), Jordon Johnson, Baylie Dunrud, Brycen Dunrud, Taylor Knoll, Chase Knoll and Henry Knoll; her great great grandchildren, Melody, Thea, Kaspian, Torr, Eve, Knox and Cash; her sister-in-law Nora Rose of Grafton, ND; her close friends, Ben and Erica Reese; and also, Brynlee and Hadley.
