She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil M. Rux and Mildred Rux (Whitson); her husband Bill; her parents-in-law, Milton and Arneida Mathieu; her sister Eleanor Halvorson; her brothers-in-law, Bruce Carlson, Ronnie Mathieu and Ken Mathieu; and her nephew Steven Carlson.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Swanson (Keith), Mitch Mathieu, Jay Mathieu (Lila) and Brenda Haats (Steve) of Warroad, MN; her grandchildren, Kristen Granly (Josh), Meghan Semrud, Ryan Semrud (Amy), CharLee Mathieu, Guthrey Mathieu (Abby Thorpe), Kory Haats (Kali) and Stephanie Frisch (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Alex, Tony, Avery, Nevaeh, Skyler, Vincent, Chase, Ava, Violet, Ryder, Charlotte, Greta and Hayes; her brother Jerald "Jerry" Rux (Bev) of Strandquist, MN; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Halvorson of Karlstad, Donnie Mathieu (Penny) of Arizona, Allen Mathieu (Suzie) of St. Louis, MO, Dave Mathieu (Stella) of Lakeville, MN and Lori Mathieu of Colorado. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
