It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Swenson of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Swenson; her parents, Helmer Melhouse and Mabel Melhouse; her siblings, Dennis, Arvid, Marvin, Jerel, Jerry, Ron and Marlis Voldness; and her brother-in-law Vernon Anderson (Muriel).
She is survived by: her children, Michael and Kaylynn Wold (Tom); her grandsons, Paul Swenson (Anne) of Byron, MN, Adam Swenson of Buxton, ND, Andrew Gordon Swenson of Minneapolis, MN and Matt Wold (Ashley) of Coal Valley, IL; her great grandchildren, Blaine Swenson, Mason Swenson, Aubrey Swenson, Lukas Swenson, Zuriel Wold and Titus Wold; and her brother Jerome Melhouse of Burnsville, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
