He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ordean Newton and Lillian Petra Newton (Sorenson); his brothers, Lyle Newton and Rodney "Rocky" Newton; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his son Dustie Newton; his stepdaughter Taya McElrath; his close friend Dorothy Durfey; his grandchildren, Terrell West, Tyce McElrath and Tyanna McElrath (Jesse Rivers); his great grandchild Harmonee Delray Rivers; and his siblings, Dale Newton (Mavis), Cathy Newton of Grygla and Lisa Swanson of Middle River. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
