He was predeceased by: his parents, John O. Stensrud and Mary Elizabeth Stensrud (Burchard); his sons, Les and Dan; his daughter-in-law Christine; his siblings, Ardell, Dorothy and Orville; and his sister-in-law JoAnn.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Verna Pfarr; his children, Kathryn Grandbois (Richard) and Clinton Stensrud (Adele) of Paynesville, MN; and his daughter-in-law Virginia Stensrud (Thief River Falls). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
