It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Stancyk of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, born in Grafton, North Dakota, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Korczak and Victoria Korczak (Marynik); her husband Stanley Stancyk; her son Stanley Jr.; her siblings, Sylvester Korczak, Helen Osowski (Ambrose) and Mary Jean Altendorf (Leo); her nephew Kenneth Osowski; her niece RoseMary Ann Eng (Larry); and her son-in-law Derald Franson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Forfang (Curtis) of Hallock, MN, Marcellene Franson and Lucille Scholin (Tom); her grandchildren, Jeremy Seng (Jami), Justin Seng (Laura), Jordan Forfang, Jeffrey Franson (Heather) and Kayden Scholin; her great grandchildren, Anabelle Seng, Peter Qualey, Emma, Amelia, Kiera, Grace Seng, Chloe and Aliya Franson; and her brothers, Henry Korczak (Janice) and Gregory Korczak (Genny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
