He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Igel and Inez Igel (Neary); his wife Betti; and his brother Bill Igel. He is survived by: his children, David Igel (Rachel) of Victoria, MN, Julie Blomquist (Timm) of Nixa, MO and Michael James Igel of Minturn, CO; his grandchildren, Luke, Zoë Igel, Kayla, Nick (Jordan) and Drew Blomquist; his siblings, Tom Igel, Dick Igel (Missy), Ann Olson (Dick), Mary Alice Lyons, Rita Moore (Mike) and Stucki; and his friend Oscar Winzerling. He is also survived by in-laws, and dozens of nieces and nephews that created a supportive and loving extended family.
