He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Pohlen and Lorene Pohlen (Thomas); and his siblings, Phyllis Van Watermuelen, Delores Schmitz, Lois Schulte, Thomas Pohlen, Mike Pohlen and Eunice Haugen.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian of Silver Lake and Brad (Angie) of Taunton; his grandchildren, Jada Moon and Skylar Gilbertson; his siblings, Ben Pohlen (Sue), Doug Pohlen (Linda), Diane Jelen (Jim) and Margene Claeys (Bernie); and his siblings-in-law, Herb Schmitz and Cecilia Pohlen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
