David Joseph Schreiber Obituary
In loving memory of David Joseph Schreiber of Taunton, Minnesota, who departed this world on February 18, 2025 at the age of 89. David Joseph leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schreiber and Helene Schreiber (Welvaert); his grandchildren, Kennedy and Kassidy Schreiber; his brother Alan Schreiber; his in-laws, George, Bertha Veit, Louis, Agnes Veit and Jon Guttormsson; and his nephews, Kevin Guttormsson and Damian Maertens.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Jill Schreiber Smith (Craig) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Marissa, David, Julia and Anna (Ryan); his son David Schreiber (Kathy) of Slayton; his grandchildren, Kasey (Ben), Darien (Emma) and Brad (Halle); his daughter Jane Mairose (Mike) of Monte Sereno, CA; his grandchildren, Devan (Matt), Danielle (Sean) and Cody; his son Thomas Schreiber (Kemi) of Redding, CA; his grandson Austin; and his siblings, Angela Schreiber, Barb Guttormsson, Brian Schreiber (Greta), Marcia Maertens (Ken) and Terry Schreiber (Donna). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Horvath Remembrance Center - Minneota (124 E 1st St, Minneota, MN 56264). A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (124 E 1st St, Minneota, MN 56264). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (409 N Adams St, Minneota, MN 56264).
