She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hartwig and Emma Hartwig (Strom); her husband Eugene Hedin of Peter's Lutheran Church; her children, Sandy Menke and Calvin Hedin; her grandson Matthew Hedin; and her brother Milo Hartwig.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Hedin and Kathy Van Norman of Swanville; her son-in-law Brian Menke of Royalton, MN; her adoptive son Mark Proctor of Swanville; and her sisters, Elaine Johnson of Alexandria, MN and Gladys Schultz (John) of Long Prairie, MN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the church.
