As Eugene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eugene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sarja and Ida Sarja; and his wife Mary Ann. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Pochucha (Alex) of Champlin, MN, Christine Sarja of Shakopee, MN, Catherine Sarja of Shakopee, MN and Kevin Sarja (Deborah Filipiak) of Swan River, MN; his grandchildren, Michelle Danielson (Jordan) and Michael Pochucha; his great grandchild Maverick; and his sisters, Ingrid Heikkila (Archie) and Karen Aalto (Joseph). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (310 U. S. Rte 2, Warba, MN 55793). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
