He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Gjerde and Nora Gjerde (Mithaugen). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Gjerde of Sunburg; his children, Jennifer Gjerde of Willmar, Kari Gjerde of Marshall and Michael Gjerde (Ingrid) of Sunburg; his granddaughters, Brooklyn Monson, Madison Lee, Ivy Gjerde and Bergen Gjerde; his brothers, Merle Gjerde (Barbara) of New London and Martin Gjerde (Diane) of Brooten; and his brother-in-law Steven Tjernagel (Wendy) of Farmington. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
