Alvin David DeRuyter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin David DeRuyter (Sunburg, Minnesota), born in Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard DeRuyter and Rhoda DeRuyter; his siblings, Vernon and Ann Marie; his parents-in-law, Wendel Sr. and Harriett Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Evan Peterson, Allen Peterson, Wendel Peterson Jr. and Diane Peterson.

He is survived by: his brothers, Willard, Steven and Daniel (Liz); and his siblings-in-law, Zach Holloway, Boyd Peterson, Bette Mattson (Gary), Joyce Peterson and Sheila Peterson-Weeks (Lloyd Weeks). He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pheasants Forever or the conservation organization of your choice are preferred.
