He is survived by: his mother Jean Thompson (Haglund) of Carlton; his wife Anna Cekalla of Sturgeon Lake; his sons, Joe (Christine) of Bloomington, Jason (Taylor) of Cloquet and Justin (Jasmine Brademan) of Blackhoof; his stepchildren, David Cekalla (Diane) of Saginaw, Melissa McClain (Darin) of Virginia, MN, Raymond Cekalla of Virginia and Aaron Hulett (Stephanie) of Cloquet; and his brothers, Randy Thompson of Aitkin and Steven Thompson of Fox Lake, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
