He is survived by: his wife Renee Fuglestad; his sons, Shannon Dagel (Pam) and Bryan Dagel (Shelly); his grandchildren, Lily, Kate, Daniel, Lindsy, Andrew and James; his stepchildren, Jackie Koivisto (Brad) and Jamie Fuglestad (Tammy); his siblings, Marilyn Criley, David Dagel (Virginia) and Daniel Dagel (Karen); and his siblings-in-law, Roger Johnson (Kelly), Dennis Johnson and Debra Malais. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
