He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nelson and Myrtle Nelson; and his siblings, James Nelson, Dale Nelson and Diane Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Lee Boldrey of Mary's Church; his children, Sherri Rybak (Thomas), Debra Klejeski (Leonard), Steven Nelson (Sheryl) and Andrew Nelson; his grandchildren, Alan Klejeski (Jenny), Donna Skierka (Joseph), Paul Klejeski, Matthew Klejeski (Mary), Sara Rybak-Carlson (Charles), Michael Rybak, Carla Wyne (Ken), Emma Nelson, Gage Nelson, Landon Nelson and Aubree Nelson; and his sister-in-law Beverly Nelson. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
