We bid farewell to Anthony Peter Gust of Strathcona, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Anthony touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Gust and Rose Gust (Homolka); and his brothers, Max Gust (Bud) and Harry Gust. He is survived by: his wife Marcella Gust (Gregerson); his children, Shonda Halvorson (Terry), Deanna Forst (Dean), Patrick Gust (Shelah) and Christopher Gust; his grandchildren, Justin Halvorson (Amanda), Devon, Austin Halvorson (Kyla), Baily (Rachel Kloety), Max, Alecia Forst, Tucker, Jalyssa Gust, Cormick, Adeline and Briggs Gust; his great grandchildren, Blaise, Sophie Sundberg, Indigo, Kellen, Grayson and Anica Halvorson; and his siblings, Joe Gust (Joy), Betty Erickson (Dallas) and Dorothy Pesch (Jim Myers). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews and 6 God-children.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helgeson Funeral Home (1207 3rd St NE, Roseau, MN 56751). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (342 4th St S, Greenbush, MN 56726).
