He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Eleanor; his brother J. David; and his brother-in-law Miles Schustedt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Susan Hareland (Scott) and Steven; his grandchildren, Christopher Hareland, Matthew Hareland and Kimberly Hareland; and his sisters-in-law, Gayle McMullen and Judith Schustedt.
