He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Givand and Sarah Givand. He is survived by: his wife Karen Olson; his sons, Jacob (Alison), Matthew (Sara) and Jonathan Givand (Jennifer); and his brother Theodore Givand (Joanne). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
