She was predeceased by: her son Willard. She is survived by: her husband Harold; her children, Betsy Brandl and Don Buckentin (Mary); her granddaughters, Marissa (Doug) and Katy (Blair); and her great grandchild Blaise.
When she wasn't knitting hats and mittens for charity, you could find Mary playing 500, Cribbage, or baking her famous decorated Christmas cookies.
