He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Charlsen and Margaret Charlsen (Collins); and his siblings, John "Jack" Charlsen (Lucille Wright), William "Bill" Charlsen and Janice Carlson (David).
He is survived by: his wife Cherolyn "Cheri"; his sons, Michael Charlsen and Matthew Charlsen (Bethany); his stepsons, Marc Loken, Michael Loken (Nikki) and Steven Loken; and his sister-in-law Carol Charlsen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandson.
