We bid farewell to John Howard Weiss of Stillwater, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 19, 2025 at the age of 69. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie; and his parents, Marion Weiss and John "Jack" Weiss. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Weiss (Krissi), Jarin Weiss, James Letourneau (Jamie), Mark Letourneau (Amber) and Tina Miller (Joe); his grandchildren, Donovan, Dayton, Briggs, David, Micah, Camden, Nicholas, Dawson and Troy; his sisters, Vicki Wyss and Kathy Pierce (Brad); his niece Lili Pierce; his nephew Dylan Pierce; and his border collie Spanky.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (115 5th St N, Stillwater, MN 55082).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to John's family.

“Jarin, Mark, and family - I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of John. I have many good memories of growing up with you both as well as Tina and Jay and spending time at John's house together. I remember John's love of football, his years of work and service at Anderson's, and his "Scotty" dog. He took us camping on the river and was always there are a typical dad with dad jokes. While I did not know he was ill I'm happy to read he was surrounded by family. Prayers for him and you all.”
