He was predeceased by: his father Francis John; his niece Kaitlyn Magill; and also Mary Magill. He is survived by: his daughters, Cecilia "Cece" Magill and Mary Louise Magill (Molly); his wife Kathy of Stillwater, MN; and his siblings, Francis J. Magill, Jr. (Margaret) of St. Louis Park, MN and Marguerite "Meg".
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Michael (611 3rd St S, Stillwater, MN 55082). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Historic Cemetery (1390 State Hwy 13, Mendota, MN 55150).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, LEADS Study.
