She was predeceased by: her husband Vernal Johnson; her parents, Lawrence Bjork and Lucille Bjork; and her brother Lawrence Bjork, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shanon Bjornard (Erik) and Kevin Johnson (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Anders and Beck Johnson; and her siblings, Gerald Bjork (Susan) and Shirley Eggleston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Midwest.
