She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pesavento and Helen Pesavento (Schweiger); and her friend Michael Walsh. She is survived by: her brothers, David Preston (Bette) and Robert Preston (Jennifer); her children, Curt Remington (Mary), Amy Schwantes (Mark) and Julie Remington; her grandchildren, Sarah Long (Joel), Rachel Klein (Keifer), Heather Remington, Story Schwantes and Landon Remington; and her great grandchildren, Ethan and Ellie Long. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
