He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hobbie and Ann Hobbie; his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Gerald; and his brother-in-law Pete.

He is survived by: his wife Dee Dee; and his sister Judy Alwin (Duane). He is also survived by nieces & nephews; countless cousins, and friends.
