He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Widenstrom; his sister Ethel Mae Hiben; his granddaughter Natasha Lukacs; and his son-in-law Bryce Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Jean Widenstrom; his children, Paul Widenstrom (Shannon), Melissa Curtis, Cindy Hasman (Matt) and Ryan Widenstrom (Dawn); his grandchildren, Zoey Lukacs, Anika Lukacs, Randi Netteberg (Nick), Joe Curtis, Mia Widenstrom, Chace Widenstrom and Brittany Sassen (John); his great grandchildren, Arian, Jaylon Day, Vivian Netteberg, Nolan, Eastson, Tucker and Lexi Sassen; and his brother Phil Widenstrom (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (611 3rd St S, Stillwater, MN 55082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family would like any memorials to be directed to copline.org in lieu of flowers.
