He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gunderson and Claire Gunderson (Elliot); his grandson Joshua; and his siblings, Lawrence, Mary, William, John, Joseph, Gene and Mark.
He is survived by: his wife Judy (Judkins); his children, Elizabeth Koll (Craig), Jane Gunderson, Brian and David (Megan); his grandchildren, Tiffany of Isaac, A. J, Sam, Kyler, Austin and Brooks; and his siblings, Leonard, Margaret Trent and Rita McMenomy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Michael (611 3rd St S, Stillwater, MN 55082). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Michael's Cemetery (865 6th Ave N, Bayport, MN 55003).
Memorials preferred to Lakeview Hospice or the Church of St. Michael.
