She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Hammerschmidt and Eva Hammerschmidt; her siblings, Joe, Ray Hammerschmidt and Rita Sandkamp; and her great grandchild Lucy Howells.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Patti Skogen (Dennis), Mike (Pam), Mark (Maureen), Marianne Leverty (Pat), Don (Belinda), Rita Wiederin (Brian), Kelly Dalton and Dan (Krissy); and her sisters, Irma Carlson (Dick) and Anna Flaherty. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
