He was predeceased by: his parents, Norb Kolb and Cathleen Kolb; his son Dan Kolb; his son-in-law Jay Hessian; his brother Garry Kolb; his sister-in-law Jeannie Kolb; and his niece Lisa Kolb.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Kolb of Rochester; his children, Marcy Sexton (Dave Butlin) of Oronoco, Lori Hessian of St. Louis Park and Steve Kolb of Rochester; and his grandchildren, Jesi Johnston (Mark) of Stewartville, Buck Sexton (Jen) of Racine, Billy Hessian (Sarah Gormady) of Eastport and Scott Hessian (Michele) of St. Paul. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
