With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen D. Friese of Stewartville, Minnesota, born in Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Friese and Reba Friese (Ross); his sister Sherry Barger; his parents-in-law, Larry Schendel and Helen Sabean Schendel; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Schendel, Daniel Schendel and Karen Nybo.
He is survived by: his wife Hope Friese of Stewartville; his children, Dawn Friese of Palmer, Alaska, Peter (Celeste Friese), Paul (Jenna Friese) and Matthew (Noelle Friese); and his grandchildren, Shannon Goerdt (Michael), Rick Friese (Tori), Ryan Friese, Bethany, Adam Friese (Jennifer), Matthew Friese (Heidi), Anthony Friese (Nicole), Hans Friese, Annika Friese, Tyler Friese, Isaac Friese, Samuel Friese, Hope Friese and Elianna Friese. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.
