He is survived by: his former wife Janet Anderson; his wife Mary Louise Olson (Firl); his children, David Olson of Jonesboro, GA and Lynn Cotton (Bryan); his grandsons, Adam and Matthew of Poplar Grove, IL; his children, Maureen Olson of Madison, TN, Jonathan Olson (Ivonne) of Albuquerque, NM and Andrew Olson (Katy); his grandchild Lasse of Berlin, Germany.; and his siblings, LeAnn Iseminger (James) of Blair, NE, Truman Olson (Mary Lou) of Brownsdale, MN and Elard Olson (Florence) of Glenville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
