He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Orchard Sr. (Anderson) and Richard Orchard; his sister Barbara Orchard; and his wife Diane Spiess Orchard. He is survived by: his children, Richard D. Orchard of Rochester and Beth Ann Orchard Kudwa of Chicago; his brother Dr. Lauren W. Orchard of Cameron; his grandchildren, Liam and Iona Orchard Kudwa; and his nephew William Orchard.
